Ellie was born, raised and educated in Yokohama, Japan, a cosmopolitan port city with more 3.5 million people and home to over 100,000 businesses today. She attended an International School in Japan.

Speaks fluent Japanese.

She currently lives in Altadena with her husband, Randy, and two adorable cats.
