PUSD School Board President to Give State of the Schools Address

Renatta Cooper will discuss the top issues affecting local schools during her address Sept. 24.

Renatta Cooper, president of the Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education, will deliver the annual State of the Schools Address Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Jackson Elementary School, 593 W. Woodbury Road, Altadena.

Cooper will address the new Common Core standards, California school funding reform, and PUSD’s master planning effort. Superintendent Jon R. Gundry will also be present give remarks.

The address begins with a reception at 5 p.m., with the address beginning at 5:30 p.m.
