PCC to Offer Discounted Public Transportation For Students

Pasadena City College students can ride Metro buses and rail lines and Foothill Transit for $30 for the fall semester.

Full-time students at Pasadena City College can ride local public transportation at a discounted rate for the fall semester, according to college officials.

Just in time for the new academic year, which started Monday, the Institution Pass Card (I-TAP) allows students enrolled in at least 12 units to ride Metro buses and rail lines and Foothill Transit for unlimited use for $30 this semester.

Students can visit the Student Business Services building to purchase passes.

PCC will also provide a shuttle service to the Metro Gold Line in Pasadena.

The I-TAP is valid seven days a week.

Students will need a PCC identification card as well as a copy of their class schedule to purchase the I-TAP.
