While Hugo Schwyzer, the controversial “Porn Professor” who claimed he had sexual relations with students while a professor at Pasadena City College, stated that he will not return to the college as a professor, PCC officials said they still plan to continue the investigation into Schyzer’s conduct while a teaching at PCC.

Schwyzer wrote on his blog that he does not plan to return to PCC and he will transition to disability retirement after 20 years of teaching at the school.

According to a story in the Pasadena Star-News, PCC Legal Counsel Gail Cooper said the college was not informed of Schwyzer’s decision and would not be involved in any retirement benefits he would receive from CalSTRS.

Schwyzer, who invited porn performers such as Jessica Drake and James Deen to speak to his students, stated on his online blog that he had sexual relations with students as recently as 2011.

On Sept. 5, Pasadena City College released a statement on Schwyzer, expressing outrage over his alleged conduct.

“Such conduct, if confirmed as true, would be a grave violation of college policy warranting termination,” PCC legal counsel Gail Cooper said in statement. “The college does not in any way condone or tolerate such conduct by any faculty member.  All of us in the college are outraged by Mr. Schwyzer's statements about his conduct.  The college is acting swiftly to conduct an investigation and to hold Mr. Schwyzer accountable for his actions while an employee.”
