Pasadena Presidents Day Closures

The following is a rundown of what's opened and closed for the Presidents Day holidays in Pasadena.

Pasadena City Hall and many City services will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 12 for Lincoln’s birthday and on Monday, Feb. 18 for President’s Day.

Pasadena Fire and Police departments will be staffed during the holidays for all patrol, fire, paramedic and other emergency services.

If residents have any power emergencies, they are advised to call the Pasadena Water and Power Department at (626) 744-4673 and for water-related emergencies at (626) 744-4138. The PWP’s Customer Service Call Center will be closed during the holidays, but customers can still pay their bills by phone at (626) 744-4005 or on the Web at www.PWPweb.com.  The Municipal Services Payment Center at City Hall will be closed during the Presidents Day holidays.

Trash, recycling and yard waste pickups will be on the regular schedule except there will be no bulky item pickups during Feb. 12 or Feb. 18.

The city’s Area Rapid Transit System buses and Dial-A-Ride programs will be running with no change to regular service Feb. 12. All parking meters will be in regular operation and parking violations will be enforced.

All Pasadena Public Libraries will be closed Feb. 12, Feb. 17 and Feb. 18.

All community centers operated by the city’s Human Services and Recreation Department will be closed. Parks will stay open, but no site reservations will be accepted.
