Victims Identified in Pasadena Christmas Shooting

Two men were shot, one fatally, in a shooting on Christmas day in Pasadena.

The man fatally wounded in a Christmas shooting in Pasadena was a bystander who had no affiliation with the "gang associate" who was also shot, police said Wednesday.

Victor J. McClinton, 49, was gunned down Tuesday near Newport Avenue and Wyoming Street at about 11 a.m. after someone opened fire at a passing car, Pasadena Police said in a news release Wednesday.

The driver of the car, a "gang associate," was identified as 23-year-old Damion Taylor. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting and remains in the hospital, police said.
