Three More Arrests in Pasadena Fatal Shooting, Detectives Close Case

Police said the Jan. 15 shooting was the result of a robbery during a drug deal.

Pasadena Police arrested three more people in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in the middle of the day during an alleged drug deal earlier this month.

Zane Goldstein was gunned down on Jan. 15 after several people tried to rob him during a drug deal, according to police. Police have arrested at least seven people in connection with the alleged murder, including three more people recently.

Raymond Frank Conchas and John Michael Piepoli have been charged with murder for their alleged roles in the shooting and Ruby Yvette Conchas was charged as an accessory to the crime. They join Kevin Jessie Cabrera, 25, of North Hollywood, Ashley Monique Ceballos, 20, of North Hollywood, and Peter Parra, 35, of Pasadena, who police arrested last week for their alleged involvement in the shooting.

A 17-year-old juvenile was also arrested and charged with murder in the case. Charges against him "are under review by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office," according to a Pasadena Police Department news release.
