The victim remains in critical condition after he was shot in the head Tuesday.

A teenage suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting earlier this week that left a Pasadena man in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the head, the Pasadena Star-News reports.

The Tuesday shooting was reported in the middle of the afternoon near the intersection of Chester Street and Villa Street, police said.

The suspect, whom police did not name because he is 17-years-old, was taken into custody Wednesday night and booked on charges of attempted murder, the Star-News reports.
