Police Will Soon Be Monitoring Dangerous Pasadena Intersections

The Pasadena Police Department plans a traffic enforcement operation at busy intersections next week.

The Pasadena Police Department will launch a traffic enforcement operation next week at in an effort to curb dangerous driving at busy intersections.

"The Pasadena Police Department is committed to reducing the number of traffic collisions resulting from drivers running red lights or driving aggressively through intersections," the departments said in a written statement. "The ultimate goal is to enforce and educate the driving public at the same time reducing serious injuries and fatal collisions."

Police will conduct the operation at "high collision intersections" throughout the city on Monday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
