Police Pursue, Arrest Repeat Hit and Run Suspects

Three suspects were allegedly involved in three hit and run collisions in Pasadena Friday.

A stolen vehicle was allegedly involved in three hit and run collisions Friday before Pasadena Police arrested three juvenile suspects.

The Pasadena Police Department released the following information:

On June 28, 2013 at 3:55 p.m. Pasadena Police Department received a report of a hit-and-run collision that occurred in the 800 block of Sunset Ave. The suspect vehicle, a blue Pontiac struck another car then drove away. The suspect vehilce was the same vehicle reported in two previous hit-and-run collision earlier in the day. 

Pasadena Police officers located the suspect vehicle in the area of Pasadena Ave. and Walnut St. and attempted to make an enforcement stop when the driver drove away. The Police Dispatch advised officers vehicle was confirmed as a stolen car from the Altadena area. A pursuit was initiated and traveled north through city streets at slow to moderate speeds. 

Air support was immediately overhead and provided updates as well as advising the officers of approaching traffic conditions. The pursuit ended safely in the area of Pepper St. and Sunset Ave. The drive of the stolen car and two passengers ran from the stolen car. With the assistance of Air Support, Pasadena Police Officers were able to apprehend all three suspects. The suspects are reported as juveniles. 

Police activity is expected to remain in the immediate are of the arrest while the investigation concludes.
