Pasadena Police and deputies from the Sheriff's Department searched the area between Madison and Jefferson elementary schools for two men in connection with a deputy-involved shooting that occurred shortly after noon, according to authorities. As a result of the search, Pasadena streets were blocked off and some residents weren't allowed back to their homes until around 9 p.m.

There was "no one hit as we know of" in the shooting, said the Pasadena Police watch commander Lt. Tom Delgado.
