Pasadena PD to Escort Santa to Huntington Hospital

Pasadena Police Chief Philip Sanchez will join Santa Claus at the pediatric ward of Huntington Memorial Hospital next week to deliver toys to kids.

Santa Claus will have a police escort when he visits a local hospital next week to deliver toys to sick kids.

As part of "Operation Polar Wind," Pasadena Police Chief Phillip Sanchez will join the Pasadena Police Air Operations Section and the Foothill Air Support Team in helping Santa Claus to bring toys to the pediatric ward at Huntington Memorial Hospital, the department said in a news release.

Santa and his police escorts will arrive on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 12:30 p.m.

"...Sanchez will escort Santa Claus and his flight suit clad “elves” as they arrive, bearing gifts and holiday cheer in their own special rotor-equipped sleigh," the release states.
