Pasadena Man Shot In Hand, Refuses to Cooperate With Police

Another shooting resulted in the wounding of a Pasadena man on Tuesday night.

A Pasadena man who was shot in his hand Tuesday night refused to cooperate with police after turning up at a local hospital.

Police received reports of gunshots being fired in the area of Sunset Avenue and Washington Boulevard at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Pasadena Police Department news release.

Witnesses said they saw people shooting at a passing car in the area. One woman reported to police that her car was hit but she was not injured.

Shortly after reports of the shooting, a local hospital contacted police about a man in his 20s being treated to a gunshot wound to his hand.

"The victim was uncooperative and provided vague information about the incident," the release states.
