A mass shooting Friday morning at a Connecticut elementary school may be one of the worst to ever occur.
Several fatalities—an official count is pending notification of family members—have been confirmed by law enforcement on the scene at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn.
The alleged shooter is deceased inside of the school that serves children in kindergarten through fourth grade.
