Explore Pasadena's Craftsman Architecture

Pasadena Heritage will host Craftsman Weekend Oct. 19-21.

Curious residents, historians and antiques collectors are invited to explore the San Gabriel Valley's architectural icons this month.

The Craftsman movement has a significant role in Pasadena history, architecture, art, and ceramics as the West Coast center of the Arts & Crafts Movement, according to non-profit Pasadena Heritage

A variety of workshops and expeditions into Pasadena's Craftsman culture happen from Oct. 19-21. Tours feature designs from Arthur and Alfred Heineman and a selection of Pasadena's 22 Landmark Districts.

A bus excursion to Glendora's 1902 Bandholt House is included Friday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You can also join area historians on a docent-guided tour through five privately-owned bungalows on Sunday, Oct. 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
