Pasadena Police Officers Bring Christmas Spirit to 5-Year-Old Shooting Victim

Police officers show support for Adolfo Garcia and his family by bringing them presents and a Christmas tree for the holidays.

Pasadena police officers gave 5-year-old Adolfo Garcia and his family something worth celebrating this holiday season.

According to a Pasadena Now article, "Members of police Team Five first came to know about Adolfo under horrible circumstances. The boy, then only four, was shot during a senseless crime in March as he stood inside a garage-turned-game-room in his family’s Pasadena home. Adolfo survived, but he is paralyzed and is confined to a wheelchair."

Adolfo was invited by the police officers to receive presents and have his picture taken with Santa, reports the article.

"The team delivered a Christmas tree to the family home and, the day before Christmas, accompanied by Chief of Police Phillip Sanchez, delivered gifts for the entire family and gift certificates for food," states Pasadena Now.
