Tour John Muir High School’s Ranch

The three-acre farm functions as a Consumer Supported Agriculture program and a school-sponsored project to teach kids how to grow food and run a business.

The Arroyo Food Co-op has partnered with Pasadena's John Muir High School’s Muir Ranch and invites the community on Sept. 29 to tour the largest school garden in the San Gabriel Valley that provides local, seasonal produce to the community and a learning opportunity for kids.

You’ll hear more about this local farm and see where plants and produce are grown that you can order as part of the ranch’s Consumer Supported Agriculture program.

Muir Ranch’s CSA enables you to sign up and pick up a box of produce and flowers grown by the kids that is supplemented with fruits and vegetables from other local farmers.
