The Wonderful Life of a Dying tree

This
is the first 2014 program of our annual Twilight Program series.

available dead and dying trees, which provide homes for cavity nesting birds
and other wildlife.

Our
speaker will be Gillian Martin, the Program Director of the Cavity Conservation
Initiative, a program of the Southern California Bluebird Club.  Her presentation will be about the ecology of
dying trees and how her organization is working on a long range plan to
encourage their retention, particularly in our beautifully manicured developed
regions.
