Summer 2014 College Application Essay Boot Camp

Pam Ohriner, founder of Helping Hand College Guidance, is offering a 15 hour college essay workshop to freshman, transfer, and international students that will meet on 6 days in Pasadena.Pam earned her certificate in College Counseling with distinction from UCLA. Students counseled by Pam have been accepted to prestigious universities including NYU, USC, Vanderbilt University, Emory University, Michigan University, MIT, University of Pennsylvania, Wesleyan University, California Institute of Technology and many other fine institutions. The workshop covers brainstorming for unique topics, creating outlines, and working through numerous edits leading to a final draft of the personal statement.  Two additional edits are included after the conclusion of the boot camp. We will perfect the two UC essay questions and the Common Application personal statement. We will also address questions on filling out the applications.
