For more than 120 years the Tournament of Roses Parade has rung in the new year with intricately decorated floats, music and sports.
You can catch an up-close glimpse of the floats at designated times and locations before or after the parade held on Jan. 1.
The 2013 parade theme is "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" borrowed from children's book author Dr. Seuss.
Tickets to see the floats can be purchased for $10 per person and are limited to venue capacity. Children 5 years old and under are free.
