The Langham Huntington, Pasadena employees support Philippine Typhoon Relief

On Wednesday November 20, 2013, thirteen employees—Esteban Ruiz (Stewarding), Garnet Tipton (Loss Prevention), Alice Cablayan (Engineering), Joseph Villacorta (Guest Services), Perry Pollaci (Royce Kitchen), Ethel Ogan (Reservations), Evonne Kang (Accounting), Myca Soria (Accounting), Fe Bernardo (Accounting), Mario Medeles (Laundry), Jessica Funes (Royce Kitchen), Lun Sukarna (In Room Dining), and Nydia Durazo (Human Resources)—volunteered at the Philippine Typhoon Relief Donation Drive Drop-Off Rally at The Rose Bowl.  Filipino American Television (FilAm TV) along with the Office of Vice-Mayor Jacque Robinson, City of Pasadena, Victory Cargo, the American Red Cross, and PNB-Remittance Centers organized the event in which monetary donations and non-perishable donations were accepted for free shipment directly to the disaster areas of the Philippines. The 13 Langham employees in attendance brought with them two truckloads of items (clothes, canned goods, toiletries, and non-perishable foods) donated by over 20 Langham employees and also assisted with receiving and sorting donations from other organizations and individuals.
