Pasadena Eats: Sushi of Naples

In honor of all the restaurants in Pasadena--apparently more per capita than in New York City--and Patch's revamped mobile app that lets editors post articles to the site from their phones, I figured I'd start a Pasadena Eats column on Pasadena Patch to share what food and drinks I see or consume in and around the City of Roses.

These could be photos of something from a new spot or an old favorite. Though chances are if it's new I'll first do a separate post about it, like my posts about Coolhaus and Copa Vida Coffee & Tea opening in Old Town this week.

This evening's photos are from Sushi of Naples on Green Street and Oak Knoll Ave., where I had:

-Naples Roll (tuna, yellowtail, salmon, shrimp, avocado and soy paper) seaweed salad

-Green seaweed salad

My companion got:
Red Hot n' Hot Roll (spicy tuna roll with spicy habanero masago on the outside)

Green Dragon Roll (shrimp tempura topped with eel and eel sauce)

We shared:
Seal Beach Roll (avocado, sprouts, salmon, crab meat, wrapped with cucumber)

Stay tuned for more photos of Pasadena food, drinks and more in this Pasadena Eats column and share photos of what you're eating with us on Twitter @PasadenaCAPatch.

Share your thoughts on the featured food, drink or restaurant in the comments section below.

Happy dining, Pasadena!
