See Val Kilmer Play Mark Twain at Pasadena Playhouse

The Pasadena run of Val Kilmer: Citizen Twain plays from Aug. 21-24.

Mark Twain and Val Kilmer are coming to Pasadena together.

In a brief run at the Pasadena Playhouse, the actor who once donned a Batman suit will portray one of the most well known American writers in Val Kilmer: Citizen Twain.

“Exploring the famed author’s wry humor—from politics to death, love, money, watermelons, God, racism and cats—Kilmer channels the wit and wisdom of the man considered to be the world’s greatest storyteller and the first stand-up comedian,” the Playhouse says on its website.
