Royal Court Will Make its Runway Debut Thursday

The 2013 Rose Queen, flanked by her princesses, will receive her crown during the afternoon coronation ceremony.

It's as heavy as a phonebook but much, much prettier.

And on Thursday, Pasadena teen Vanessa Manjarrez will feel the weight of historic royalty as she is crowned the 95th Rose Queen during the coronation ceremony at the Pasadena Convention Center.

Manjarrez and her six princesses, Kathryne Alice Benuska, 17, Maranatha High School, Tracy Italia Cresta, 17, La Salle High School, Victoria Sophia McGregor, 17, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, Nicole Cherie Nelam17, Pasadena High School, Sonia Marie Shenoi, 17, San Marino High School and Madison Michelle Barili Teodo, 17, La Canada High School, will make their runway debut.
