Father’s Day is Sunday and if you’re celebrating with dad you have quite a few options right in Pasadena.

Pasadena Police Classic Car Show

The Pasadena Police Department will host their 12th Annual Classic Car Show in conjunction with the Pasadena Chalk Festival. Vehicles will line Green Street at the Paseo Colorado between Marengo Avenue and Euclid Avenue and there will be prizes, food, live entertainment, raffles and fun for all ages.

A police helicopter ride is even being auctioned off.

The show will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday and all proceeds go to Police Activities League, Pasadena Explorer Program and Haven House.

Pasadena Chalk Festival

More than 500 artists from across Southern California will work to create 200 murals on pavement this weekend at Paseo Colorado.

The art work will "range in subject matter from the classical to whimsical, including renditions of masterpieces, abstract, portraiture, movie images, 3D effects, animation," according to a release sent out by the Light Bringer Project, which is organizing the event.

The event is free and open to the public.  The artists will be present from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 16.

Vertical Wine Bistro

Vertical is bringing back its Sunday Supper and the kickoff coincides with Father’s Day. Sunday’s supper includes fish and chips, paired with Old Speckled Hen English Pale Ale or a special Father’s Day “New Fashioned” cocktail; a twist on an Old Fashioned that includes Woodford Reserve Bourbon, bitters, simple syrup and a peach slice. 70 N. The Counter

Noir Food & Wine

Real Food Daily

For a dad with health on his mind, you can take advantage of Real Food Daily’s creative, organic, vegan menu. They are open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and serve weekend brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 899 E. Del Mar. Blvd., Pasadena. 626-844-8900.
