Fifteen cents for a luxury hotel tea of scones, gourmet tea sandwiches, desserts and—of course—tea?
On June 10, fantasy becomes reality as the clock is set back for the Langham Huntington Hotel's annual Anniversary Tea.
The tea pays homage to the year when the first Langham hotel opened in London in 1865 and their signature afternoon tea cost 1 shilling, six pence (or a mere 15 cents).
Guests wanting to be a part of this year's June 10 Anniversary Tea can visit this website to request a reservation.
Reservation requests will be accepted through May 31. Since the tea is so popular, guest names will be chosen at random and the lucky winners will receive their reservation confirmations via e-mail on June 3.
Guests at the Anniversary Tea are requested to wear a touch of pink, the Langham’s signature color.
