Video: California Teens Hit Tulare in Thousands
More than 3,000 California high school students packed the International Agri-Center in Tulare, CA, last weekend for California YMCA Youth & Government conference.
If you want to know who the future California leaders are, then all you have to do is spend some quality time with delegates from YMCA Youth & Government.
More than 3,000 high school freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors drove across the Golden State to reach "Larry" also known as Tulare, CA, last weekend.
The YMCA group met for its 65th year of the model legislature and court.

The program throws students into a real-life, teen-led democratic process, where youth elect representatives into a mock government and court system.
Local students join area delegations, including Crescenta-Canada, Verdugo Hills, Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena and South Pasadena and San Marino YMCAs. Teens give speeches to crowds of their peers, vote for elections, debate bills and argue court cases.

This was the first trip in a series of three, including a trip to Camp Roberts in San Louis Obispo in January and Sacramento in February.
