April Fools/ Mardi Gras Mask Decorating Event at Parnell Senior Center

We thoroughly enjoy hosting festive and exciting events across our communities, and this time around we find ourselves at Parnell Senior Center in Whittier.  The arts & crafts activity we had planned was a mask decorating event.

With excitement and a bag full of items, glues, glitters, stencils, markers, studs, ribbon, and paper plates, we arrived at Parnell.  It is an incredible feeling to arrive and have a room full of eager people waiting for the event to start.  Once the event got going, there was no stopping it.  Supplies were all over the place and the masks really began to take shape.  We had so much fun decorating our masks and we can tell that all of the seniors in attendance had an equal amount of  fun.  At the end of the event there were dozens of beautifully crafted and decorated masks ready to be worn.  On top of it all we decided that it would be a great idea to raffle off a basket full of goodies at the end.  The winner of the basket was so ecstatic and couldn't hide her happiness.  When we asked her what should do with it, she said she would share it with her friends and family.

The community service work we do is only the tip of the ice-berg.  Our amazing caregivers have been helping those in need for over twenty years, and we can begin helping you today!  Just some of the cities we service are San Gabriel, Covina, Arcadia, Pasadena, Alhambra, San Marino, several other Los Angeles Cities and Orange County.
