A-1 Home Care Sponsors Mardi Gras Celebration at Newport Subacute Health Center

We love to partake in the festive holidays because it is a way to have a little fun and spread some joy.  This time, in the spirit of Mardi Gras, some of our great staff members went over to Newport Subacute Health Center in Costa Mesa for a mask making activity.

Our plan was to make and decorate masks, Mardi Gras style.  With us we brought glues, glitters, markers, studs, ribbon, and stencils to decorate the  masks with.  Not only did everyone there have a lot of fun, but all of the masker turned out amazing.  All of the seniors and elderly in attendance were extremely creative, they definitely got into the spirit of things.

For us, these are the moments that we live for.  Being able to bring a smile onto the face of another, that truly was priceless.  We know that this event was not the last for us and we look forward our next opportunity to sponsor another event.  Giving back to our communities one event at a time.

Besides Orange County, we provide our services and charitable work in Pasadena, San Gabriel, Covina, Arcadia, and Los Angeles County.
